This introductory archival processing workshop offers hands-on learning experience for community members interested in understanding and working with archives.
Participants will be trained in beginner archival processing skills using real materials, which have been donated by Muslims in Canada to MiCA. Skills-building will include beginner archival description, key definitions, digitization, personal archives, and creative applications of these skills. Participants will gain a deeper familiarity of Muslim archival materials in Canada, with a pathway towards volunteering with MiCA.
